Ce fut un prieur de la Chartreuse de San Giacomo qui découvrit en 1948 les vieilles formules de créations de parfums de Capri et leur redonna vie en créant Carthusia, qui vient du mot Certosa - chartreuse en italien. Aujourd'hui Carthusia est toujou rs entre les mains des frères de la chartreuse, qui perpétuent la tradition et font des produits fabriqués artisanalement, des objets raffinés, symbole d'un Luxe d'initiés. / It was a prior of the Charterhouse of San Giacomo who discovered in 1948 th e old formulas of perfume creations of Capri and gave them new life by creating Carthusia, which comes from the word Certosa - chartreuse in Italian. Today Carthusia is still in the hands of the brothers of the Charterhouse, who perpetuate the tradit ion and make handcrafted products, refined objects, symbol of a luxury of insiders. How to bid?

 

Registering

To place bids, you need to create an account by clicking on “Register to bid,” which is very easy and takes only a few minutes.
You’ll be asked for your full contact details, as well as bank details.

Bidding

Once you’re connected, bidding is very simple. Simply type your maximum bid in the box, and our software will then bid on your behalf up to the amount registred – and never higher. If another bidder exceeds your maximum bid, you’ll be notified by email. After validating your maximum bid, you cannot change it unless you want to raise it up.

The auction's end time is the time in which the system is automatically going to award the lots. It awards one lot per minute, so if, for instance, the auction end time is 2 pm o’clock, at that moment the system is going to award the lot #1, at 2:01 pm the lot #2 and so on… Each lot have a specific end time which you can find at the lot’s description.

If there is a last minute bid, additional 3 minutes are added to the timer. It allows bidders to bid again without disturbing the other lots timers.

At the end of the auction countdown time, you win the auction if no other bidder has placed a maximum bid that is higher than yours.

Tracking

In your account, you’ll find a dashboard where you can track your auctions and favourites.

At the end of the auction, on your account you will find your invoice stating your purchase.
